Environmentally friendly
production plant for ecological units
In order to ensure that the products are environmentally friendly since the beginning of their life cycle, AUGUST built a production plant that became the first industrial building in Lithuania meeting BREEAM’s sustainability standards.
All wastewater treatment plants must meet strict
environmental requirements. The quality of the
treated water must meet the high standards set by the
European Union which means that the clean water can
be discharged into the ground or open waters without
harming the ecosystem.
Only certified sewage treatment plants can meet
these requirements. It is stated in the Regulation
(EU) No. 305/2011 of the European Parliament that
all wastewater treatment plants must be tested in
laboratories and have the reports certifying that the
plants are in compliance and be marked with the CE
mark. All wastewater treatment plants manufactured
and sold by AUGUST meet these standards.
